Using geographic coordinates to define flight area.

I would like to define the flight area with geographic coordinates rather than the GUI and basemap as a reference. Is this possible?

Hi Antonio,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to use coordinates as input, you have to navigate in the screen to the area of interest.

However you could reverse engineer it by creating a KML polygon, importing it into Pix4Dcapture, and then aligning the flight boundary to match with the KML boundary.

Additionally, it is possible to choose different map providers. For more information: https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000124163#label1

These two features are only available on Android because the iOS default base map does not have problem with missing and outdated background.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
