I would like to keep track of an ongoing project, however the improvements done on the project already are very recent and the basemap obviously will not reflect that. I would like to be able to determine a flight path and correct flight area based on pre-determined coordinates for a given area to insure that I cover the correct amount of area in the right location. Is there a way to do this in Pix4D?

I believe this import a .kmz boundary will be exactly what I need.

Hello Brian,
As you mentioned, on the Android version of Pix4Dcapture, you have indeed the ability to import a .kml/.kmz file.
Also, a workaround to outdated basemap can be:
- To change the street or/and satellite basemap provider. In Pix4Dcapture, go to Settings > Map.
- Set a custom map provider like Google Maps. This community post and this comment describe how to proceed.
Best,
