The Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 is a less expensive and popular substitute for similar Nikon and Canon lenses. Currently PIX4D does not have a model for this lens but this lens is a worthwhile addition to your lens database. Thank you.
Take a series of 100 or more pictures with this lens with plenty of overlap.
Load the pictures in Pix4D.
Use the Process/Upload Project Files…
Email Pix4D support with the project name you uploaded and request them to calibrate the camera/lens.
It will be added to database for for others to enjoy.
They cannot buy every camera/lens combo, so we need to help them out.

As Tommy said, it is possible to add new cameras/lenses combinations in our database.
We, firstly, need to have a good dataset in order to calibrate the camera model (camera + lens) and then we can add it to our database.
It is also important that the EXIF ID of the images is informative: it registers the focal length.
