Reducing effect of subject movement between images (post-survey)

I am trying to use Pix4D to estimate the volume of animals which are relatively immobile but still sometimes move slightly between images when surveying, which is of course causing problems in reconstruction. I am able to edit the orthomosaic satisfactorily with the mosaic editor but this is not geometrically accurate and doesn’t apply for measuring volumes in the volumes tab. Is there a similar way to edit movement that would work for measuring volumes? Alternatively, what are the best processing options to use in this scenario when some degree of movement between images takes place? Thanks very much!

Hi Thomas,
It sounds like there will be quite a bit of noise in the point cloud. I would recommend using the rayCloud editor to edit the point cloud. You will want to “disable” the erroneous points before you try calculating the volumes.
