I am trying to process the point cloud. every time the program shuts down on me.
There are literally hundreds of hardware problems or software conflicts that can cause a hard crash. You can enter a support ticket and send the log file to Support as a start. They might be able to see some setting or bug in Pix4D.
I would suggest force closing all programs that are running and only have Pix4D running. If that doesn’t work then reduce the cores used by 1 and reduce the available RAM to be used by 10% or so. Next you could do a clean re-install of Windows and put Pix4D on first…after that it could be hardware failing. And these steps work with any software conflict.
