Since the update, my Pix4D windows will just close randomly. Most of the time there won’t be any warning like a “not responding” or frozen screen or “processing failed” error. The window will simply dissapears. This will happen with large and small projects. It just seems like a glithcy update. I have all updated drivers. Has anyone tried reverting to an older version of Pix? I haven’t experienced these issues with prior updates.
Hi Chris,
I would need more details to investigate the issue properly. Please submit a ticket to Pix4D Support Team and send us the following:
▸ The quality report (.pdf format): …\project_name\1_initial\report\project_name_report.pdf (if any)
▸ The project log file (text file): …\project_name\project_name.log
▸ The project file (.p4d): …\project_name.p4d
▸ The machine specs:
- Click the Windows Start icon and type System Information. Select the application in the list above.
- In the application, click File > Save… and export the content.
- Attach the file your_file.nfo to the reply.
Additionally when the software will crash, please go to the Event Viewer and see if an error was logged at the time of the crash.
-> Go to the Start search bar and type Event Viewer
-> Then Windows Logs -> Application / System -> Filter by Error
-> Verify if an error was logged during or just before the time of the crash.
Thank you in advance!
