Multiple Regions of interest

Hi,

I am working on an excavation project where we suppose to scan vertical walls to help the client know how much he needs to cut or fill in those vertical walls. We face a problem with the dense point cloud didn’t continue after reaching 10-12% and probably this due to not enough memory. So, we decided to divide the point clouds processing into multiple ROI but after processing specific regions, we can’t see the original calibrated data (whole project) they disappeared, how can we after processing say region 1 & export it, go back to the original data to process another ROI and so forth? The only way I find is through the history but I am not sure this is right, when saved things may gone!

Hi,

You may want to save the project in two separate folders. One being the original workflow, Second being the project you use to establish your separate ROI’s. Once you complete your ROI, save it separately and merge all of your projects at the end and create a whole of the job site.

I thought of that but I was thinking there might be direct option. Thank you tmixon!
