ROI (Region of interest) does not truncate dense point cloud

I have constructed a ROI and readjusted the point cloud. I expected that dense point cloud (with 24 million points) will be truncated, in that way I will get a “lighter” dataset.

I did not happen.

How can I get rid of point outside the ROI ?
