Setup to output smaller point clouds

Hi all,
I am flying a high country farm, total area ~25km2, which I have spilt into smaller parts of approx. 2.5km2 but even these have ~10,000 photos.

My computer can handle these smaller flights but the point cloud that is output is GB’s in size, even by putting all the options to as low as I can, I cant seem to get a smaller point cloud.

What is a good setup that would reduce my point cloud size?

Thanks in advance.

Hi pbecker,

You might need to consider splitting the project up and using a region of interest (ROI). You could create multiple ROIs in Google Earth that snap together. If you process all of these individually, the outputs will evenly align. Then, if you are looking for a single orthomosaic, you can merge this in a GIS software like QGIS or ArcGIS.
