Cannot download appropriate point cloud data

Hello.
If I download point cloud data at PIX4Dcloud, I get very low density data.
Input from PIX4Dcatch (iPhone 12 Pro Max).

I think this data is “depth point cloud”.(Because it is very similar when use PIX4Dmatic’s output of depth point cloud)

Best Regards.

Hello @seiichi_takayama ,

if I download the point cloud file and open it in PIX4Dsurvey, I see the same file that is on PIX4Dcloud. Do you have a similar behavior?

Could you send a screenshot of the low density point cloud that you get? Which software are you using to open the .las file?

Hello, @Alice_Bonfiglio

When I use CloudCompare (Open Source Software), like below.

Source data is like below (Screen shot of PIX4Dcloud).

Hello @seiichi_takayama ,

I believe CloudCompare is applying an approximation to the coordinates of the points, therefore the striped effect occurs.

By clicking Yes to the second import window, the file shows up correctly in CloudCompare too.

Hello, @Alice_Bonfiglio

I tried to click [Yes] or [Yes to All] , the problem is solved!
Thank you.

But I tried to click [No], the problem is not solved.

And I tried to open PIX4Dsurvey, like below.

I understand data’s X and Y is too big (and object is too small), unbalance.
So viewer is applying an approximation.

I learned a lot, thank you !

In PIX4Dsurvey you can adjust the point size so that you can visualize the file as on PIX4Dcloud
