Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual

We recently acquired a DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual and I can’t figure out how to get it to work with pix4dcapture. I’ve looked at this page: https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/203991609-Supported-drones-cameras-and-controllers-PIX4Dcapture, and I see in the first chart it shows that my drone is not supported by pix4Dcapture but then lower on the page it shows that it is compatible in iOS only with RGB. So I’m not sure if there is a way to use my drone with pix4dcapture or not. Can someone clarify if my drone will work with pix4Dcapture and if so what the workflow is to get it to work.

Hi @afriesen,

This specific camera is supported only in iOS and for RGB images.
Can you have a look at the thread below?

Best,

If I have a smart controller is there a way to connect an iOS device to the drone in order to use this work around?

Hi @afriesen

If you are talking about the DJI smart controller, unfortunately, it is not compatible with PIX4Dcapture and we don’t expect it to be compatible with PIX4Dcapture any time soon.
You can check whether a controller is compatible here: Supported drones, cameras and controllers - PIX4Dcapture

On the other hand, the good news is our other app, PIX4Dscan, is already compatible with the DJI Smart Controller Enterprise if you happen to use one!
More info: Supported drones, cameras and controllers - PIX4Dscan
PIX4Dscan is available to all Pix4D users with any active valid license (include trial licenses)
More info on this feel free to have a look at our previous community post: PIX4Dscan flight app now available with any PIX4D license).

I recommend if you would like to stay with PIX4Dcapture, to use the IOSD device to connect to the drone directly! Getting started with the Pix4Dcapture app - Pix4Dmapper Video Tutorial
Here is a video that is much newer: Drone Mapping with Pix4D Capture
