How to georeferenced 3D Texture Mesh in other software (Meshlab)?

Hello,
I have a project to show the exported 3D mesh model from pix4dmapper to the web-based viewer (CesiumJS). However, I have a problem in georeferencing 3D texture mesh from exported pix4D. As pix4dmapper can not generate georeferenced 3D texture mesh (except in format .slpk or .osbg), however 3d mesh model with coordinate reference is important in this case since it needs to be shown in the map. My problem is I can not find any fitted software to georeference this mesh 3d texture (in .dxf, .obj, .ply format). I have tried to use the Meshlab software to georeference my exported 3d mesh data by adding some GCP points and the offset data from pix4D params as suggested from this https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/204606535-How-to-visualize-the-3D-textured-mesh-with-georeference . However, it seems does not work as what I expected. Do you have any suggestion trough my issues?

Thank you

Hi Ryusuke,

Thank you for your question, and welcome to the community!

In order to provide you more accurate support, I would like to know more details about what is the goal of your project, do you need to use exclusively CesiumJS, which format do you need the mesh?

If your goal is visualizing georeferenced 3D texture mesh, I can suggest a few options:

I hope this information will be useful to you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out at any time.

Thank you,
Jonathan
