Google Photos/Google Drive processing workflow

I’m envisioning a workflow where I use a low-powered laptop out in the field to upload drone images to Google Photos (which just recently announced unlimited storage of high resolution images). I’d like to be able to initiate processing of the photos on my high-powered desktop back at the office, then save the .p4d file to Google Drive so I can open it from the laptop after processing is complete. If possible, what would be the best and most straightforward way to set up this workflow?

It seems to me that this kind of workflow has been officially added over the cloud

If you want the full output on your laptop while you are out, you could always run Pix4D from the command line and incorporate this in a script that moves the output file to some folder shared over the internet.
