Dear community,
I am using Pix4D mapper version 4.5.6 (I have to use this version because I dont have Support & Update since 2019). Step 1 and 2 work perfectly but when starting step 3 I get this error:
[Error]: Load point cloud: the mean resolution was not set or invalid!
[Error]: Point cloud loader: Initialisation failed with error: [Load point cloud: the mean resolution was not set or invalid!]
[Error]: Load point cloud failed!
I have tried with the tips from other threads to generate the quality report in order to calculate the mean resolution. In the log file I can read the following:

However I cannot find the pdf as usually in the 1_initial directory and when I restart step 3 I have the same problem as before.
Does anyone have an idea on what I can do to overcome this problem?

Hi,
Could you try to regenerate the quality report by clicking Process > Generate Quality Report , which recomputes the mean resolution, and then go on generating the orthomosaic?
Let me know if that helped.
Have in mind that we always recommend to send us the full .log file (you can find it at the path …\project_name\project_name.log) so that we can read all the information from the processing log.

The same problem remains after starting step 3 and there is also no quality report appearing (or in the folder 1_initial).
I fail in uploading the log file which is why I just copied the last part of it in my original text (I think it is to big with 110 MB?)

Thank you for uploading the file.
In the log file you shared with me I noticed that the project you are trying to process is quite large (16000 images). For such large projects we usually recommend PIX4Dmatic. You can take a look at Pix4Dmatic HERE.
You can also try to split the project into subprojects and process each subproject separately. Afterwards you can try to merge the subprojects. For more:
I would suggest also disabling the Generate Orthomosaic Preview in Quality Report and process the subprojects.
One more thing that I noticed in the log file are the Devices 0,1,2 etc. May I ask if you are using a Virtual machine?
