Error: "pix4dmapper.exe has stopped working

Hello ,

pix4dmapper stopped working when I opened the case I created before.  I use the version 4.4.12. Started doing this after the latest version update.

What a great pilot you are! :o I think it’s the best project I’ve ever seen. Congrats!

In the .log file, I don’t see any processing errors or other issues which could cause the freeze.

My suggestion would be to:

  • update your NVIDIA driver to this version

  • open the project again, once it crashes please:

    1. Start search bar and type Event Viewer.
    2. Then Windows Logs -> Application / System -> Filter by Error.
    3. Verify if an error was logged during or just before the time of the crash and send us a screenshot of this view.

It will give us some insights on what is exactly happening with hardware because in the log file, we can see what the software does.
It also sometimes gives further insights into the application or software.

In this ticket, please answer the following questions: 

  • Are you able to open this project on another computer?
  • Did you create this project in the same version you are currently -  is 4.4.12? 
  • Did you create it locally on your computer?

I forgot to mention that because of OneDrive limitations if you won’t zip the dataset before uploading, I can’t download it in total.

Would you mind to upload the zipped version of your project once again? 

I could have downloaded only 27 images. ;-(
