I have tried over and over again to confirm my email address to access data sets but every time it tells me email confirmation failed to be sent. What could this be?

The confirmation email might be in your spam or junk folder. Mya you entered the correct email address without typos. Try resending the confirmation email from the platform. Your email provider has filters blocking the confirmation email.
