Hi,
i have random crashes with pix4Dmapper version 4.8.4
i’ve got a brand new computer with processor i9-14900KS , ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 APEX ENCORE, 128 GO CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 5600Mhz CL40, and MSI GEFORCE RTX 4070 SUPER 12G VENTUS… windows 11 pro
previously, i was working on a i5 with 16 GO pf RAM and there were no crashes, even if the treatment was very long.
I’ve tested the ram - all is OK
Anyone has an idea ? should I buy the latest version of Pix4D ??
Thanks for your help
Hi garde,
you should provide the Event Log and/or the Reports of the crashed projects, in order to have a better idea of what is triggering the crash: for instance, last week my i9-14900 2.00 GHz, 64GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 was crashing during the 3D Mesh processing, and I was able to “crash” also the Pix4DCloud Advanced servers…only with the log, Tech support was able to detect that the RAM saturation was the main reason (i pushed the Octree depth to 20/20, instead of a more reliable 14/20).
