Vertical Reference System for SIRGAS2000

Hi!

we are from Brazil and we are testing the ViDoc functions.

We use the SIRGAS2000 but the reference for vertical coordinate isn’t on the list of supported geoids/system.

it will compromise my modeling? What I can do to avoid an “false height” issue? which are the best pratical procedures to get the best results?

thank you for everything

Hi smc.colucao,
Are you a PIX4D reseller? If not, I would suggest reaching out to them so that they can elevate the request to our team. We are working towards supporting every common geoid.

Hi Mike!

yes, we are Pix4D reseller.
our NTRIP service here uses the Brazilian’s Institute of Geography and Statistics, and the geoid is MAPGEO2015.

there is an article about when the vertical reference is a must or can be “skipped” ?
please clarify this for us.

cordialy

Hi smc solucao,

We use the SIRGAS2000 but the reference for vertical coordinate isn’t on the list of supported geoids/system.

Can you use the EPSG.org codes for the coordinate reference systems you are referring to? I can see there are several of the sirgas 2000 reference systems available, and would like to confirm the vertical reference.

Also, are you referring to selecting the input coordinate reference system when connecting to the viDoc RTK rover, or selections when uploading to PIX4Dcloud?
