trouble connecting matrice 100

I tried to fly my Matrice 100 with the rededge MX to collect NDVI data for the first time yesterday using a pix4D preplanned flight.

It would not fly because I kept getting this message from Ctrl+DJI Permissions:

“In order to control your drone, the SDK used in Ctrl+DJI which is provided by the manufacturer requires certain permissions. Additionally, it is necessary for us to be able to store images and flight data to your device’s storage. Granting the permissions is required for normal operation.”

How do I go about “granting permissions”?

Also, do I need to log my drone’s IP address or serial number with some sort of online database before It will fly?

Please help, because this is a time sensitive manner. The agricultural data must be collected soon

Hi Logan,

To operate our application, you have to be sure that you have granted all the permissions that are needed.
On your Android mobile device:

  • Tap Settings –> Apps –> Ctrl+DJI –> permissions.

Ensure that you granted permissions for Location, Phone and Storage.
Ensure to do the same for Pix4Dcapture and the drone manufacturer application DJI GO.

If the issue persists, try to reinstall both Ctrl+DJI and Pix4Dcapture.

Also in your configuration, it is suggested to use the iOS version of Pix4Dcapture as it enables you to set a custom camera.

Best,
