I am facing issue regarding the Permission. when i try to connect the Inspire 2 with Ctrl+DJI first it donot connects and when i open PIx4d Capture it gives an error “Ctrl+DJI need permission to operate correctly” what is its solution?
How could i fix it and how could i make it permitted . What could be the possible error
To operate our application, you have to be sure that you have granted all the permissions that are needed.
On your Android mobile device:
Tap Settings –> Apps –> Ctrl+DJI –> permissions.
Ensure that you granted permissions for Location, Phone and Storage.
Ensure to do the same for Pix4Dcapture and the drone manufacturer application DJI GO 4.
If the issue persists, try to reinstall both Ctrl+DJI and Pix4Dcapture.
I keep getting this error. When I tap it, it disappears… I have given all apps all permissions…
I have uninstalled ad reinstalled. DJI GO, PIX4D Capture, and CTL+DJI three times…
“In order to control your drone, the SDK used in Ctrl+DJI which is provided by the manufacturer requires certain permissions. Additionally, it is necessary for us to be able to store images and flight data to your device’s storage. Granting the permissions is required for normal operation.”
Please do not give me the canned copy/paste answer I have read those already. Please help me get this fixed.
I have a incredible problem with CTRL+DJI. I lost already at least 10 hours for trying to solve this problem so here is what I discovered. I have Ulefone smartphone and I keep getting this message.
Obviously the problem is in this “SD CARD <-> SHARED STORAGE” thing.
Can someone know the solution for this problem except buying or using another phone? Thank you.
Why does it need permissions to phone at all?
And why dows it need permission to location AT ALL TIMES, not only when it is in use?
Why all the datamining?
I have the same problem with CTRL+DJI app.
I have granted access to Locations, Internal Storage and Phone (I don’t know for what) and the app continues to tell me to grant access. Messages as above. I tried to reinstall the CTRL and Pix4D applications. I have Android version 9. Why is this application not working?
I was having this problem, after several attempts, I realized that some permissions in the dji go app had no permissions, so allow all and pix4 recognized my p3adv again, thanks everyone for the tips.
Was this ever resolved? I’ve just changed phone to a Pixel 4a and thought everything would just work as it did on my aging Samsung . . . but keep getting permission errors from ctrl-DJI. Have cheacked that ctrl-DJI, and Pix4Dcapture, and DJI GO have the correct permissions, though actually I can’t permit PHONE permission to Pix4Dcapture, as it doesn’t show up as denied. Is ctrl-DJI just not compatible with some phones?
I find it reprehensible that a company such as Pix4D would put a product out and not support it…Capture would be great if they’d ever step up and help folks resolve this connection issue…all I’ve heard from their customer service is follow this board…I’ve done that, and all the so called fixes that everyone advises…I continue to get a “permissions” and “disconnected” message when I know I’ve done all I could and I use a DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Smart Controller…I’ve purchased two Skydio’s…don’t have that problem anymore…will also explore Drone Deploy…shame as I have Mapper and Pix4D Cloud services…oh well…
Bonjour,
