The geotagged location of pictures in different plane (blue dots) as where pix4d thinks the pictures are taken from (green dots)

Hi,

I used a new camera today (sony a6000 in stead of gopro). I now noticed that the map is totally angles on what the gps coordinates say. This totally screws up the DSM map. Any idea what happened? Can GCP fixed this?

Hi Stijn, 

I think we need a bit more information to understand what happened. 

  • Could you share a link to the quality report of your project? 

  • How are the GPS coordinates assigned to the images? It could be that some mismatches happened. 

  • Can you share a screenshot looking top-down on the project? This would help see how the blue dots are optimized to green ones.
