I have done initial processing on a large project and during initial processing it failed on step 6/7 (Writing tie point images done). However I was still able to mark GCPs and when trying to rematch and reoptimize or just reoptimize I get: Error e9031: Cannot reoptimize. Failed to remove some first step directories.
Is there a fix to get around this? I would rather not have to run step 1 again as this is a very large project (~7k images), and I think the same thing would happen again if I did.
If anyone has any tips it would be greatly appreciated.
This worked for me!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for contacting Pix4D support. These errors are related to issues where Mapper is unable to access the drive where the project is stored/located. Interestingly, we have seen an increase in these errors lately. This happened after a recent update to Windows. What is likely happening is that, because you are using OneDrive, Mapper is unable to write to the drive. Either OneDrive is very slow or Windows is syncing the data which is causing a problem. The solution is to disable OneDrive. Please disable it and see if it helps. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
