split point cloud after processing

Hello,

I have a .las file of about 7.5GB after processing.

I selected merge tiles in one file and now I’d like to have multiple files so the point cloud is not that big.

Is there any way to do it?

Hello,
Unfortunately Mapper can’t simply split the merged LAS file. You will have to reprocess step 2 with the merge tiles option not selected. Otherwise you could use some 3rd party software to split the LAS into more manageable files.
