Pix4Dcapture users who collect aerial imagery with a DJI Matrice 600 Pro,
As you are well aware, the DJI Matrice 600 Pro model has not yet been tested on the Android version of Pix4Dcapture:
- (Android, iOS) Which drones are supported by Pix4Dcapture
- https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/203991609–Android-iOS-Which-drones-are-supported-by-Pix4Dcapture
In lieu of testing the Android version of the app with a Matrice 600 Pro and deeming it compatible with some app release version, Pix4D recommends at the bottom of the Support page to use the Matrice 100 model option as an equivalent model to the Matrice 600 Pro:
_ Recommendations to fly a drone that was not tested _
The drone to be selected before starting a mission should be one of those having the same connection mode (Wi-Fi or USB cable).
_ Tip: The following drone are recommended:_
- DJI Phantom 3 4K: Select Phantom 3 Advanced or Professional.
- DJI Phantom 4 Advanced: Select Phantom 4 Pro.
- DJI Matrice 600: Select Matrice 100.
I have been using an iPad to collect infrared aerial imagery with a DJI Matrice 600 Pro and a Zenmuse XT infrared camera. Unfortunately, I am grounded in the field once the iPad’s battery runs too low. I would like to use my CrystalSky Android tablet instead of my iPad, because I can swap out a depleted CrystalSky battery with a fully charged battery. In contrast, it takes a few hours to fully recharge an iPad’s battery if I am fortunate to be near an outlet and forever to charge from my vehicle. Consequently, the field collection is effectively over for the day.

If you are an Android Pix4Dcapture user who has selected the DJI Matrice 100 model option as an equivalent model to the Matrice 600 Pro and then flew a photogrammetry mission with a DJI Matrice 600 Pro, please report your evaluation of this/these mission(s) in this string.

If you would like for Pix4D to test the DJI Matrice 600 Pro model with the Android version of the app and deem it compatible with some app release version so that you would know that the Android version of the app is safe to use with a DJI Matrice 600 Pro, then please make your request to Pix4D in this string.
Thank you.
Respectfully,
