RED COLOR OF ATP 'S

Hi 
I have a merged project that consists of about 10400 images.The merging procedure has been finished successfully and georefrence errors are in good limits.But a part ATP points became in red color as you see in the attached images.

Also the thumbnail images in the red area has no preview and they are in black color.

What is the source of this problem and how to solve it?Is it related to project error ?

Hi,

As I mentioned in the private message, this issue can occur if files in the results folder were manually removed or modified, e.g. in the folder 1_initial.
Normally, if you create the subprojects from scratch and then follow the merging procedure described in this article (https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/202558529-How-to-merge-projects), it should not produce red Automatic Tie Points (ATPs) anymore.

You can try to process the red points zone again. After this, you will need to redo the merging procedure in order to see if the issue is solved this way.

Thanks for your complete reply.

It is very useful way,but i have no time to process and merge the sub projects again and it will be very time consuming.

Has these red ATPs any impact on point cloud generation or color of orthomosaic?

In the other hand can I continue processing with the current situation?

Hello again,

Could you please generate the quality report and check if the results are intact? To do this, click on tab Process > Generate Quality Report.  This should create a Quality Report in pdf format in this folder of the project: \1_initial\report. I don’t think the red ATPs are affecting the results, but it is always good to make sure.
