I am looking to determine hot spots in a specific area and would like to know if it is possible to perform basic statistical analyses (such as mean, variance, and standard deviation) using PIX4DFields.
Any insights or guidance on this would be greatly appreciated!

You could obtain statistics by doing two things.
Creating a zonation via Operations, this will allow you two create zones according to the index and you will see statistics of each zone, please read: How to create zonations for targeted spraying - PIX4Dfields
Or, you can create annotations over the index layer areas, and later export statistics; Exporting statistics - PIX4Dfields
