Finding a fair bit of time is being chewed up drawing polygons around plots on the orthomosaic. Since i don’t have full RTK correction and the treatments were applied post sowing, i find I’m having to draw them again after every flight. My workflow is a lot of 40-120 plot trials or farmer scale plots.
Is there the possibility of designing a tool that allows quick imports of polygons to do analysis quicker. For a simple example 5 plots 2m wide by 10m long with a 30cm gap between them. Have a tool that allows these metrics to be inserted (as well as plot names) then place them as a whole unit on the desired area (would need to be able to rotate them naturally). The ability to edit each individual polygon would still be very valuable to remove anomalies. If i can quickly draw a whole bank of plots at once it will make it far more efficient.
