Test plots: Construction / Reference Lines

I will be testing product this season, applying in 100’ swaths. I would like to create boundaries for each area in Pix4D so I can easily compare to multispectral orthomosaics and yield maps.

My fields are very awkward. Turning on the measure tool to expose dimensions while making the boundary is very useful. Is there is another trick to create exact lines at exact dimensions I can use when constructing the boundaries? Some programs call these “guides.”

Any suggestions?

Hi Mike, that is not possible. We don’t have those tools. For this type of work, you can use the advanced digitization tools in QGIS. They have exactly those capabilities, but it needs a bit of learning.
