I’ve been liking the updated UI and better connectivity of the new Pix4Dcapture Pro, however in the old Capture you could specify which background imagery was used (Google Earth, Esri, Mapbox, etc). This feature is lacking in the new Pro version and should be implemented. Often the default imagery is out of date at a specific location and being able to switch to different sources makes for much better mission planning.

At the moment, we are not planning to add additional providers as background maps.
However, I’ve shared your feedback with the product team. Even though we cannot guarantee that a solution will be implemented, I can assure you that every piece of feedback is internally evaluated at Pix4D.
