Hi all,
I no longer have background imagery when processing in Pix4D. This started happening about 3 weeks ago.
I’m using version 4.9.0 which i believe if the most recent version.
Any ideas?
In PIX4Dmapper, if you are experiencing an issue where no background map is displayed, it could be due to several reasons. The Map View feature in PIX4Dmapper allows you to select between Satellite and Maps views provided by Mapbox. If none of the images in your project are geolocated and there are no Ground Control Points GCPs , the entire Earth should be displayed by default.
Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
-
Check Geolocation : Ensure that your images are geolocated or that you have GCPs in your project. Without geolocation data, the software may not display the background map correctly.
-
Change Background Map : Use the “Change Background Map” option in the toolbar to switch between Satellite and Maps views. This can sometimes resolve display issues.
-
Internet Connection : Verify that you have a stable internet connection, as the background maps are provided online by Mapbox.
Hi Kapil,
All our images are geolocated, we have GCP’s.
I’ve switched background mapping between both Satellite and map views and nothing changed sadly.
And the internet connection is extremely good because we are based in a city centre, in a large HQ supplying internet to many employees.
Additionally this is occurring on BOTH our processing machines. So two separate machines.
Any ideas?
