We were initially excited to see that the newest updates to Pix4D Matic would eliminate the need for a second application with Pix4D survey, however we’re very disappointed to see that Pix4D Survey features, along with AI enhancements are locked behind the Pix4D Matic ‘pro’ tier. We just renewed our license for Pix4D Survey only to find it’s being phased out and features that we already use in Survey are locked in Matic. Was Pix4D Matic not considered a ‘pro’ software before? It’s certainly priced as such. And we can’t even test these new features without paying for the upgrade.
Hello @order, I believe you have misunderstood the the license details. The PIX4Dmatic Pro license is the combination of PIX4Dmatic and PIX4Dsurvey license. At this point, you have PIX4Dmatic Analyst (PIX4Dsurvey), PIX4Dmatic Standard(Only PIX4Dmatic) and PIX4Dmatic Pro(PIX4Dmatic+PIX4Dsurvey).
If you have PIX4Dsurvey license, you would get access to PIX4Dmatic Analyst and the feature related to PIX4Dsurvey will be available. If you have both license, you can simply switch between license and access all the feature.
The other thing is that you have both PIX4Dmatic and PIX4Dsurvey license so you can request to merge both of the license to have PIX4Dmatic Pro license which will give you access to all the feature on single software. For more information visit,
