We have just begun using this app, but once connected and attempting to launch either the grid mission or free flight the app crashes and returns to the home screen. This happens on both Wifi and Bluetooth hotspot, any suggestions?
We are using the Phantom Advanced with a Nexus android
Are you opening the DJI Go App first to calibrate the compass, warm up, ect?
The two apps don’t work simultaneously. You need to go into the Apps on your android settings after you calibrate compass ect, and force stop the DJI Go app, then you should be able to open up the Capture App no problem.
Don’t worry if you don’t have internet access. The imagery I cached before going to the field stayed cached even though I had to force stop capture before opening DJI GO, then force stop DJI Go before opening capture again…
samsung galaxy S5 i cant connect to the dji go app unless i completely uninstall the pix4d capture app and i cannot run the capture app unless i uninstall the dji go app .( i tried force stop it doesn’t work for me.)
Besides making sure the other app is not running in the background, on Android you should check that this app is not selected as the default app when connecting the drone. For more information: https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/212300043
