Phantom 4 Grid Mission backward flying

Hi Yesterday I set up a grid mission with my Phantom 4. All fine planning the mission but once the mission had started the drone was doing some strange maneuvers, as listed below.

As the drone then moves to continue the next run it would actually fly backwards.

I relaunched the mission thinking it was maybe just a one off but the drone did exactly the same (backwards flying thing). I let the drone continue with the mission but kept an extra careful eye on it the whole time.

Is this normal as I’ve never noticed this in all the time I’ve been using Pix4Dcapture which is probably about a year now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
