Orthomosaic has white, square gaps of missing imagery

Hi,

I processed my imagery of a short corridor and everything appeared to have processed perfectly. The Quality Report (see attached) showed a preview of the ortho showing full and complete coverage. However, when I brought it into ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro (see attached), there were major gaps in the ortho (white, square gaps). It almost seems as though it’s a tile issue? Does anyone know what could be going on?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi Paul.

Welcome back to the Pix4D Community!
Thank you for sharing the screenshot and the quality report.

Could you please check the following?

  • In ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro, are you opening the " _transparent_mosaic_group1.tif " or all the tiles separately?
  • Can you see if the missing tiles are created in "< ProjectName>\3_dsm_ortho\2_mosaic\tiles "?

In addition, for the future, we saw from the quality report that the flight plan was not optimal. For such a corridor project, please try to acquire at least three flight lines (one along with the central feature and one of each side).

I look forward to your response.

Cheers
