Does Pix4D allow grid missions that is not rectangular?
We have very large L shaped site. If we apply the rectangular mission grid we’ll survey almost 60% more than required.

Thank you for your interest in our products.
It is not possible to directly design and fly a polygonal mission with the Android app at the moment. However, a workaround would be to fly several smaller rectangular missions, to adjust them according some reference points on the map background, and to process all the images together in Pix4Dmapper. This is facilitated since the grid missions are displayed and so can be adjusted on the same map background.

Further to this does the same method apply for iOS?
And also, DJI offer an option to fly a radius around a point of interest or via Waypoints etc.
Is there plans in place to do this with the capture app because for us this would be a feature that would set your app well ahead of anyone else.
