NADIR images

I am probably overlooking something completely obvious, but is there a way to tell if photos taken with the Nadir setting were actually taken correctly, like a “lens direction” or some sort of metadata like that? I don’t see anything of that nature in the EXIF.

Thanks for any assistance.

Hi Greg_Rouse,

From an EXIF file, you can confirm a nadir perspective by looking at the pitch information. If pitch = 0°, it means that the camera is looking down (i.e. nadir).

For more info: Yaw, Pitch, Roll and Omega, Phi, Kappa angles

Hope this helps!
