mission not uploading

I used to be able to perform low altitude flight with very slow flying speed (i.e. 1 m/s) in earlier version without any problem, but I found out that I can’t do it any more. Whenever I try to create a mission with low altitude - 10m with 85% overlap - I get to the last part where getting check marks, and mission upload item shows yellow exclamation mark. I flew with the same configuration in earlier version, but I can’t do it any more. Is this something I am doing wrong or any changes from recent updates?

Hello Jinha,

We’re aware of a limitation in DJI SDK (what allows the communication between the app and the drone’s firmware) that is not allowing to upload missions where waypoints are too close to each other. For instance, this can happen when you create low altitude mission with high overlap.

Our developers are working to go over this limitation and the issue will be probably fixed in the next iOS release of Pix4Dcapture.

In the meantime what you can try do is (as a temporary solution):

  • Slightly adjust the grid to increase the distance between lines

  • Slightly reduce the overlap

I hope this helps

Regards
