Are all three cameras available when using Pix4D Capture Pro?
The highest resolution camera is the 1/1.3" CMOS Medium Tele Camera - at 48MP. I expect this camera has a lower native resolution due to pixel binning - but I don’t really know.
Can Pix4D Capture Pro select the 48MP option using the 1/1.3" CMOS Medium Tele Camera option?
If not - I expect the 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad Camera might be the best camera option for photogrammetry.
Please note that the DJI Mavic 3 Pro is not supported in PIX4Dcapture Pro:
The best option to upgrade from the DJI Mini 3 Pro, and if you want to keep the compatibility with PIX4Dcapture Pro, is the DJI Mavic 3E. The DJI Mavic 3T could also be an option, but it loses some RGB quality in favor of having a thermal camera.
The DJI Mavic 3E has 20MP (effective pixels) using a 4/3 CMOS sensor, and that’s the resolution we use in PIX4Dcapture Pro. It has a mechanical shutter, which is usually the best option for photogrammetry and 3D reconstruction.
The 48MP are obtained by fusing different images, in the same way the DJI Mini 3 Pro gets the 48MP images, we cannot get that resolution during missions.
The DJI Mavic 3T has actually 48MP, but the time triggering is limited to 3 seconds between images, and the shutter is not mechanical, so I’m not sure how it would compare with the DJI Mavic 3E.
