Hey there. Is or will there be a support for the mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced in the Pix4Dcapture App on iOS?
Hi @ingo.schmidt,
Thank you for your messsage.
Unfortunately PIX4Dcapture does not support Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced. For more information: Pix4Dcapture supported drones, cameras, and controllers.
May I ask if you would like to share your dataset with us?
Best,
Hi Nikoleta,
thanks for your reply.
Will Pix4Dcapture support Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced in the future?

Hi,
As far as I know, there are no plans on supporting Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced.
Would it be possible to share with us your dataset(s) because we intend to add this camera on our database in PIX4Dmapper?
Best,
Hi,
so at the moment it is not possible to map pictures shot with Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced camera in PIX4Dmapper?
What kind of data do you need?
One picture or a picture set meant für mapping?
I just got the drone yesterday…
Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Hi Ingo,
It is possible to process with PIX4Dmapper as it is camera agnostic. We just want to add this camera on our internal database and compute the optimal parameters. The optimal internal camera parameters can be computed in Pix4Dmapper while processing a good dataset.
For this reason, a good dataset with the following properties is required:
- Enough images (100 - 300 images).
- Non planar scene (not all objects having the same height)
- High overlap and rich texture.
- Several grid flights (at different heights) OR oblique imagery with sufficient overlap.
- If possible, with GCPs.
It would be really helpful if you could provide a dataset with the properties described above.
Thanks a lot.
Best,
Hello Nikoleta,
please find my first dataset under the following downloadlink:
I flew one grid planar and 4 grids oblique (thats the way the DJI Pilot app works) and I did a freeflight at lower hight and different angle. The differences between hight (25 to ~10m) and angle (60° to ~40) are big, I know that know but it’s a start. I could provide more datasets next week.
I would love to here your feedback for optimizing pix4d- and flight routine.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Best,
Is there an XML file to use teh M2EA with Pix4DReact?
@thomas.mcnamara MAVIC2-ENTERPRISE-ADVANCED_4.5_8000x6000.xml (1.3 KB)
Please try this XML file. If it does not work, please share your dataset with us.
Best,
Thank you! This is working perfectly!
