Magic 2 pro, Pix4D capture pro and DJI smart controller

Can anybody tell me how I get Pix4D capture pro to connect to Mavis 2 pro

Do I need ctrl+DJI app? Where can I get it?

The app keeps stopping on the DJI smart controller and comments mention sdk permissions?

Ideally a simple step by step guide would help

Hi @alan

Welcome to the Pix4D community :handshake: .

Yes, the DJI Mavic 3 Pro is compatible with PIX4Dcapture Pro:

Make sure to use the Default RC1A controller.

During use, you need to close all other apps:

I only have the DJI Smart Controller RM500

In settings

About remote controller Android 7.1.2

DJI Go 4 4.3.60

Where do I get the PIX4d Capture pro Android file to load to the controller.

Do I need any other apps running (in the past CNTL-DJI)?

Hi @alan,

for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro, only the Default RC1A controller is supported. We can’t ensure compatibility with other controllers

The APK file for the controller can be found in the same website above. However, the compatibility list is still valid, and we cannot ensure that nonlisted combinations of drones and controllers will work with PIX4Dcapture Pro.

Please close all other apps when using PIX4Dcapture Pro:

Kind regards,
Daniele

When I try to run the Capture Pro App, it says “PIX4DCapture Pro has stopped

There is also another message about permissions and drone vendors SDK

I have stopped other apps, but just cant run Capture PRO

Hi Alan,

If you are not using the Default RC1A controller, I’m afraid I can’t help. The default DJI RC1A controller is the only compatible one with the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and PIX4Dcapture Pro.

Thank you for understanding.

Daniele
