Loss of connection Inspire 1

 I was flying a mapping mission yesterday, 20th November, using the Pix4D app. After doing the systems checks using the DJI app. I closed the DJI app and proceeded to execute the mission. The mission failed to execute as designed not taking any mission photos. Before I was able to abort the mission to attempt again, I lost complete signal and the aircraft went down. Any ideas why this would happen and how to avoid again in the future?

Not to draw any conclusions, but I don’t think it went down due to the app. I have had several times that the app crashed or for some reason didn’t initiate the procedure, but that didn’t lead to a crash. You can get the drone back, maybe restart the app and restart. Did you have line of sight? Did the drone fly way? DJI Go checks were OK (compass, IMU? )
