Since updating my iPhone15 Pro to Pix4Dcatch v2.1.3 this morning, I’ve been unable to obtain an RTK fixed position at my site. I’ve tried restarting the phone and the device multiple times, but the problem persists. Additionally, the AR data isn’t aligning correctly; it’s shifted 90 degrees from its original position. I understand this might be due to the unit not having a fixed position.
I used the ViDoc with the same NTRIP server yesterday without any issues. For reference, I’ve also tried connecting to two other NTRIP data streams but encountered the same problem.
Thank you for your assistance.
Andy
UPDATE: The previously recorded localized sites in " Point management" do not appear in the “AR Points” tools.
Hi Andy,
Thank you for your detailed report. It sounds like the issue is related to the RTK fix, which is essential for accurate AR data alignment. Please make sure to update to the latest version of Pix4Dcatch if you haven’t already, as there could be important bug fixes.
Also, it’s crucial to ensure that AR features are only used when an RTK-fixed position is confirmed. Without that, you may continue experiencing the alignment issues you described. Since your NTRIP connections worked fine before, the problem likely stems from the RTK fix not being obtained with the current setup.
For the missing localized sites in “Point management,” please try reloading the project or reconnecting to the same network and see if they appear in the “AR Points” tools afterward.
Let us know if this helps or if further troubleshooting is needed.
Best regards,
