Horizontal and vertical accuracy not being read correctly

We have an increased number of users contacting us regarding incorrect accuracy values being read from the EXIF in the latest version of Pix4Dmapper 4.6.3.

In some cases, the results are not affected, and in some cases (Anafi) the optimized positions of the images are incorrect.

In case, you see that the generated results are affected by this issue, we have two workarounds:

  1. Use Pix4Dmapper 4.5.6 (download ) until further notice.
  2. If you wish to use 4.6.3, edit all accuracies to the default accuracy (0.02 maybe for Phantom4 RTK, 0.1 for parrot, in general, you can use 0.1 m for all datasets).
Right-click one cell of the column.
Click Edit All Altitudes / Horz. Accuracies / Vert. Accuracies.
    Type the new value.
Click Enter or click outside the cell.

Feel free to follow this thread to get the latest updates. Thank you for understanding,

Hello. When will this bug be fixed please? Graeme Carleton - CR Kennedy

Hi @Robert_Kennedy,
we are actively working on fixing the way accuracy values are imported into Pix4Dmapper.

If everything goes as planned, the fix should be available in the upcoming weeks.

We will update this post once we have more information.

Best,

Many thanks for the response.

Hi all,

The issue is fixed in Pix4Dmapper version 4.6.4 and newer (download).

Please download the latest version and let us know if you face any issues.

Best,
