How do you export a hi-res orthomosaic with cadd/pdf overlays to a PDF that can be printed?
Hi Layton,
Currently this is not supported. The best you can do is use the “screenshot” feature and composing your own PDF in some other software.
You can take a screenshot by clicking the camera icon on the bottom-right of the view.
All the best,
Hugo Campos
Bumping this as this feature would be very much appreciated. A screenshot has to low resolution to be used as a print.
Hello @niklas.gisle
Thanks for showing interest in PIX4Dcloud.
We would like to learn more about your needs. Can you please explain exactly how you would like this feature to work?
That is, what do you need to export a PDF? Why does it have to be in PDF format? Would you also need more information, like a header with the project and other metadata? Is a georeferenced PDF what you need?
I am looking forward to your answer.
Have a very nice day!
Best regards
Hi Heydi,
Thank you for the follow-up on my post in the forum, and sorry for being slow with answering.
What I wish for, is the option to export the Orthophoto merged with one of the overlays of my selection. This, because after importing to Pix4D the overlays are now put to scale in the current situation of our building sites and we can use it further in our reports if we had the option to export it. This merging of a pdf with an orthophoto is of course possible with Bluebeam etc. but it is much faster and more precise to do it in Pix4D.
The reason I would want it to be in PDF format is cause of this is the format most users are familiar with. It is not necessary for it to be georeferenced.
Hope this clarifies
