The percentage of the difference between initial and optimized focal length should be within 5 % (Quality Report Specifications).
If the area is flat and homogenous areas,
What you can do :
- Process with lower Keypoints Image Scale (1/2 Image Scale for example): This processing option can lead to a higher number of calibrated images than the default original keypoint image scale. For more information: Menu Process > Processing Options… > 1. Initial Processing > General.
- Enable Geometrically Verified Matching.
- Set the Calibration method to Alternative and Internal calibration parameters to All Prior in Step 1 processing options.
If these do not help, could you please share the quality report for us to have a look at?
