Error e0706g: Could not acquire the license. The Support & Upgrade of this license has expired and your software version is too recent.

Hi

I just updated Pix4D and when I tried to log in again to my commercial licence, I got

the following message

Error e0706g: Could not acquire the license. The Support & Upgrade of this license has expired and your software version is too recent.

can anyone tell me how I can sort this out or do I need to contact Pix4D directly?

thanks in advance

Greg

Hi Greg,

This happens if your support and upgrade have ended and you have downloaded the most recent version of the software. You will need to completely uninstall the software and then install the last version which was released before your S&U expired.

Thanks Momtanu

Where do I get the previous version of the software, do you have a link?

Can you tell me what was your last version or when your S&U expired?

Hi Momtanu

my S&U expired on 11th July 2018, i’ll reinstall the older version now so I can get this job processed, but what is the cost in £ not $ of upgrading the S&U as it gives the price in $

thanks

Greg

Hi Greg,

According to the expiration date, you should be able to access 4.3.15. You can have a look here: https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005738363-Pix4D-Desktop-technical-release-notes

You can contact sales for this inquiry. Please use https://www.pix4d.com/contact. They will get back to you as soon as possible. Have a great day!

Hi Momtanu

Do I need to contact your sales team to be able to reinstall version 4.3.15?

is it not available to download from the Pix4D website?

Hi Greg,

No, only if you want a quote of S&U. I have uploaded this version in google drive. You can download it from here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1E49s4Yte7T8WAYFDKoAOxn3j2PHtJfVJ?usp=sharing

It’s suggested to get S&U cause there are some bug fixes and improvements continuously.

Dear Momtanu (Pix4D),

I thank you for providing the solutions to Greg and I hope that he has managed to retrieved his commercial license back.

I too have the same problem and I was hoping if you could help me. Our company bought a one time purchase from an Hawaiian Sensefly Dealer and they have gotten back to my email where I lodged my problem. Recently I updated our software and came across the same problem stated above by Greg. Would you be able to help me solve this problem? Kindly appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Hi Benedict

What I had to do was reload the last update that was performed before my S&U expired, so you should check to see when your S&U expired (I think you can do this on your account) and then reinstall the last update before this date, I think you can find the previous versions of Pix4D on the support pages here, although it is not easy. or alternatively tell Pix4D on here when your S&U ran out (this is what I did) and they will hopefully be able to help you

Hi Benedict,

Greg is right. If you tell me your Pix4D ID or your software version before S&U expired, I can upload the exe file of that version in google drive and share the link here.
