UAS implementation into Pix4D capture app and best practices.
It’s been hard for me to move away from the simplicity of the P2VPlus operation and overall performance. The P3 was not enough of a performance gain in reference to flight performance, optics and CaptureApp implementation to phase out my P2VPlus systems, but maybe the P4 will have it’s own hanger space here.
I am looking forward to reading from Pix4D staff and our user community experiences!
Hello Gary,
We are happy to announce that the new iOS version 1.2 supports Phantom 4!
However this version does not support DJI Phantom 2 Vision and DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ drones.
You can check this link: https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/209955403
Give a try.
Best Regards,
How many lines does the phantom 4 support. My 3 pro has 7 but with the improved battery I would like to know current maximum lines. Thank you.
Hi Ryan,
On iOS there is indeed a limitation, this is a bug since the grid size is limited by the battery but at the moment, only the number of lines instead of the actual surface of the grid is taken into account.
What we would suggest as a temporary workaround is to change the orientation of the grid to have longer but fewer flight tracks.
A new version will soon fix that problem.
Regards,
