I have all my data on the same drive as the program. I am able to get through all steps of the project right up to creating the orthmosaic. When I attempt to run just the ortho step, it gets to 27% before it freezes the entire computer preventing any/all work from being done. When I attempt to run the ortho and export the ortho, it gets to 14% before I get the same result of entire system freeze.
I have no idea what to do to sort this. I have tried enabling the software on my video card (to access more of the GPU) to the same results.
I looked at your log file and it indicates that the GPU timed out.
(Error) Pipeline GPU Stitching, step 1 task threw exception: Time out
At this moment, I am unsure why this happened. However, I do have a suggestion. Please change the Orthomosaic algorithm from Hardware accelerated to Standard.
This will utilize your CPU instead of your GPU for the generation of the orthomosaic. Typically, the CPU will take longer but it might allow for the orthomosaic to be generated.
Hi Miles,
I’m sorry to see that the GPU processing did not work. This should not be the case.
We’re happy to look into it, but we would need the data to reproduce the issue.
Would you be willing to share the dataset with us? (we will treat the data confidentially of course).
Best,
Vincent
