It would be greet if you can set a parameter to always display the line vertex.
If I select a line, I see circle in vertex, but if I have no selection, the vertex are hard to see.
If you can make a display preference to always display circle on vertex it would be great.
When I draw the edges of road I can put the vertices face to face on both sides.

Yes, currently the vertices are not displayed when the polyline is not selected.
I have forwarded your request to the product team.
Meanwhile, a suggestion for vectorizing the edges of a road.
You can use the Create an offset polyline that will copy your polyline.
