Cameras display green but don't contribute to ortho

Hi,

I processed a small project in Pix4Dmatic and found some of my images failed. An entire row in a stand of trees show up as orange camera points. The row before mostly passed and show up as green but the ortho doesn’t seem to include these images despite the green icons.

Is there a reason for this and can it be rectified?

Hi,
This indeed looks unexpected. To understand better what could be the reason, could you please confirm that

  1. the flight was nadir, i.e. that the empty ortho areas are indeed visible from the “green” cameras above it.
  2. the DSM has reasonable values in the empty ortho area? When in doubt, please add a screenshot of the same area as the ortho in your post.

If this is all ok then something is probably wrong with the ortho processing. We would need the dataset to investigate the issue in this case.
